The location of the Antea is fine, near the Marmara sea, but beware if you're not really fit: you have some steep streets ahead of you if you want to get up to the Hippodrome / Blue Mosque area. We got a standard room which was very small, the door to the toilet even touched the toilet as it swung open. Breakfast was okay-ish, but nothing more. The biggest problem though was the fact that the airconditioning didn't work (in Istanbul, mind you), as this aparently couldn't be regulated separately in your own room... It 'just wasn't turned on for the entire hotel', we were told, so 'just open the window.' Which is very thoughtful advice, don't get me wrong, but not with the honking cars on the streets... it's not a quiet town, is what I'm saying. So we had a couple of very hot nights, not really comfortable...
