Just passing through
We were passing through after traveling for our child’s cancer treatment. We were checking in around 5:30, check in went great, super friendly. When we got to the room-finger prints, presumably from a child all over the mirror and the night stand, there was hair in the tub, pink soap scum over the toiletries in the shower, and something crusty on the toilet. Our daughter, was not feeling well and had already laid down. We knew we would only be there until about 5am, so we ordered pizza and called it a night. The TV wasn’t fully working (some channels worked, others didn’t, internet issue most likely), not a big deal, we all went to bed. At checkout, the gentleman was also very friendly and I told him about the cleaning issues, to which he apologized for and we left.
Next thing I know, I’m getting a charge from them for $20. I haven’t called to find out why-but in the 12 hours we were there, we slept most of it, didn’t use the shower because there was something on one of the towels, and we ate at the desk to make sure no food got in the beds, our daughter didn’t eat, she slept, the entire stay. This was our second time staying there. The first time was great but because of the second time and the $20 charge, I do not think we will stay there when we travel through at the end of the month, there are a lot of other hotels in the area. We love the area and it’s convenient for a traveling family.
