Ripped off
When I got there the front of the hotel had been ripped off with I sign that said the office was now in room 119. When I got to room 119 the Manager said all reservations had been canceled and refunded. I never got my refund and Hotels.com is doing nothing about it. I will never use Hotels.com again them and Econ lodge are a bunch of thieves. Do yourself a favor and stay away from both.

Owner is ridiculous.left everyone stranded
Stayed during the hurricane. Tin came off the roof and landed on people's cars. The owner left after moving the tin ( so people could not get pictures) then chain locked the office door and left or hid like a coward. We couldn't even check out so we had to leave our door key in the room. No soap no shampoo. Pillows looked like they came out the trash. Roaches. Door lick didn't work. Never stay here. Power lines and trees was blocking the driveways. Guest had to help each other get out safely. What a piece of crap he was to leave us all there 😡

The room was clean. It was accessible and that was good for me. No one from house keeping came by to see if we needed towels or anything. No trash pickup. Could not get to pool and at one time could not get into pool because it was locked.

Econolodge shameful!
This place is horrible. This motel should not be on these apps. I got there late. My room had no towels, no toiletries, and tv didn't work. No batteries in remote that said TV. The air conditioning did work otherwise it would have neen an even worse experience.

This lodge should not be open until they complete the renovations. I’ve stayed in better accommodation in third world countries.

Unfortunately the property is nothing like the pictures on the booking website. Do not be deceived. Upon checking in I notice the unkept grass and the dip are of the building. That was just the tip of the iceberg. We go to our room my pillow was absolutely covered in black dirt. The smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down and looked like black mold had been painted over. Also there was cardboard behind the mirror sticking out. No safety lock on the door. I had a small child with me and I didn’t feel safe at this location let alone clean. Soap scrum on the shower what looked like boogers wiped on the bathroom wall. There was a dirty ring in the toilet . Various holes in the bedding in a non smoking room. What I’m presuming is ink stains in bedtime. No mattress protection for bed bugs. And holes in the cushions of the chairs. Remotes didn’t work and there was no coffee or any kind of food or drink at the site. It was burning hot in the lobby. Pool was green and not maintained. I check out and asked for a refund. This is definitely not a safe location for anyone. Also I turned in my keys after getting off the phone with Expedia before 11 am and while we were finishing up in our room a lady came through the door. No amount of money saved on travel would be worth this hotel I would of felt safer in my car.

THE ROOM RENTAL IS OUTRAGEOUS BASED ON THE CONDITION OF THE ROOMS. THEY ARE ALSO UNWILLING TO WORK WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS & STRUGGLING. 2.5 WEEKS COST THE AMOUNT OF A MORGAGE FOR A NICE HOME. THE ONLY PLUS IS THE FEMALE AT THE DESK IS VERY NICE & EMPATHIC.

Gross! Inhabitable.
This place is inhabitable. Mold in the shower, hair in the bed, unwashed sheets with markings all over the pillow cases, holes in walls and doors. Ended up having to book another hotel down the road to stay the night in. No amount of saving money is worth this. Do yourself a favor and just go book elsewhere.

AVOID THIS PLACE!
DO NOT STAY HERE! We got 2 rooms for 2 nights. The first room had nasty, stained sheets on the bed, the couch cusion had a giant stain on it, and the toilet was filthy. The other room was being worked on and we had to change rooms. The air conditioner in the other room we were moved to smelled like it was burning. The pool water was green. There was buses full of migrants coming and going thru the halls being loud all night long. People had clothes hanging everywhere on the property. The TV remotes wouldn't work half the time. The second night people were blasting music and being loud outside the rooms. They advertise free breakfast but don't have any. The stairs were falling apart and very dangerous for people to be walking on. The toilets would not flush. The only trash can is the small one in the bathroom. There was also a very bad stench in the room when we first entered it.

Filthy, full of house flies , bathroom full of mold with cracks and holes in the walls. The panel above the door in room 129 has a piece of cardboard covering the opening that would allow anyone to enter the room. The motel had four busses full of migrant workers staying on the second floor. Excessively noisy all night long.
