Very pleasant /relaxed...only food could be better
The reception area is "open" gives you a welcome Barefoot Bliss feeling! Staff is great!
Hotel rooms clean,.spacious bathroom, separate toilet, balcony or terrace with direct access to the very well kept garden. Entertainment in the evening, it stops mosly around 11 pm. Quite area rooms are more expensive here but worth it.(more privacy!) own bar/swimmimng pool
The other swimming pool is open till 8 pm. After a day on the beaches and in the sun it is really nice to take a dip in the pool after sunset (6.30 pm) and have drink
Beach is very nice! Enough parasols and sunbeds.Water in lagune warm. As it is private ground you might see security.
On Mauritius sadly there are a lot of stray dogs Dogs on hotel beach will not bother you (will only look for shade) as they are taken care of by Bandito (guy selling bracelets etc) If you like dogs consider a donation or a purchase).
If you have a car you can visit a lot of other places and beaches. But be aware: driving is on the left side and people (and dogs!) are walking everywhere. Tip= rent a car with GPS, more relaxing to find your way.
Mauritius is a great island and really worth to stay there more than a week! Nature and beaches are beautiful and people are very friendly!
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would have scored it with a 10........if the food was better.
Although there is a rich variety of food .....everyday the food is the same.
Breakfast (and lunch are ok. Dinner? Go to hotel next door = restaurant The Skipper
