The imagery used in your online listings is misleading. The elegant lobby featured in promotional photos was entirely inaccessible during our stay, yet no clarification was provided prior to booking.
There was loud and disruptive construction both inside and outside the building, including on our floor, something not disclosed at the time of booking.
One of our rooms had no functioning electricity at all. We had to speak to multiple staff members before anyone addressed it, and even then, the issue was not resolved promptly.
As a result of this failure, we were forced to separate from our minor niece, who had to be moved to another room alone- an incredibly stressful and inappropriate situation for a family traveling together.
The hallways, especially near our door, smelled strongly of urine. It was unclear whether the smell was due to poor sanitation or an actual incident, but either way, it was revolting and deeply embarrassing.
Several public restrooms were out of service, which compounded the discomfort of our group.
Throughout our stay, we were made to feel like second- or third-class guests
This experience was a far cry from what I once valued about The Jane. It is unacceptable for any guest, let alone one hosting visitors from abroad and relying on your hotel to provide a welcoming, professional environment.
Given the severe and numerous issues we encountered, I am requesting a full refund for our stay.
