we absolutely loved this place. it's in the middle of being renovated, and even though we stayed in one of the older rooms, it was still updated, clean and super spacious.
we were in town off-season, and it's about a mile walk to downtown salem. the walk is pretty easy, maybe two streets depending on where you're headed, and felt safe at night as well. i can see this being a great option for peak-season as it's a bit further out, but still easily walkable, and a great way to avoid having to find and pay for parking downtown. my favorite perk - there's a dunkin literally steps away from the property.
the property itself is well lit with a huge, open parking lot and a central gathering space with cozy swinging chairs and music, just a cool place to unwind and read a book.
the room was HUGE, and very comfortable. i look forward to returning when the property's renovations are complete.
