Needs a renovation, decent for low-level motel
I'm a little torn. The location is very convenient: close to downtown/airport. There are several Mexican restaurants/bars right next door. There are more options within 5 minutes of driving. Some of the rooms are smoking, some are non-smoking. The place could use a renovation. Maybe some of the rooms are more fixed up than others.
The good: location, comfortable mattress, reliable internet, big-sized TV with cable.
The bad: no breakfast/coffee in the room or office, worn-out furniture in my room (loveseat is literally flaking), not enough water pressure in the sink, shower faucet spraying water. The room was decently clean, but once I opened up the microwave, there was leftover rice there.
Summary: if you don't feel like spending a lot of money, go here. There are some pluses in this hotel. But if you want a nice romantic getaway, this place ain't it. The owners should add coffee, and fix up a few things, then the place would be great.
