Thought it was ok the 1st time...
I stayed here once before, 1 week prior actually, and it was amazing! You definitely can't beat the price, the room was good, clean, comfortable, seemed safe, everything worked properly, and the staff was great. However, this time wasn't as great. I booked again on my way back home since it was so good the 1st time, expecting it to be the same. I had stayed with my son and my service dog the 1st time, and the second time was just me and my service dog. Booked through hotels.com both times, checked in the same way, payed the same way, asked for the same kind of room, everything the same. When I arrived this time they said I owed extra money for my service dog. I explained that this didn't happen a week ago and they told me it did. I paid the fee as it was getting late and I needed some sleep, I got to my room which was in the back of the building this time (there's no grass back there to let a dog out, and it's very dark and secluded. We had the front of the building the 1st time.) Upon entering the room I turned on the heat as it was cold, and the air conditioner/heater was so loud I couldn't hear the TV and had trouble sleeping all night. I like to sleep with a fan for noise but this was loud. It also wasn't actually heating the room. The bathroom sink was clogged and wouldn't drain. I got an extra blanket out of the drawer and it had cigarette burns in it. Overall nothing terrible, but definitely could have been better. The service, rooms, and fees need to be consistent.
