I mostly enjoyed this hotel. I really liked how walkable it was to so many things. I say my biggest gripe about my stay was that the hotel room didn't have a fridge. It's a way to deter eating in the rooms. We had to be very mindful of portions and what we ate when we ate out. There's a communal kitchen area somewhere in the building but we didnt want to ask where it was. Just a very odd thing I've never come across in a hotel stay.
Secondly, it drew a younger crowd, probably the main factor being the rooftop bar. I'm in my mid 30s and it just wasn't our vibe. We went up to use our complimentary drink cards and decided to go right back down to the room; it just looked kind of shoddy and tacky, not well put together in order to enjoy. It felt more like an outdoor bar than rooftop. The rooftop parts you could enjoy were through a threshold and near the edge of the building. Just not what we were expecting.
There was one night, a Friday night if I'm not mistaken, I was awoken to what sounded like a party right next door to my room. I immediately was taken back to college. It took me a little bit to fall back asleep. That night was the only night with an issue. At check-in, I was shown a sheet with the overall hotel info; there is a kitchen but no free meals.
Like I said, I still very much enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for sure!
