A lovely stay for two nights whilst at work.
The facilities are excellent, the hotel is set on a rather large golf course and is very picturesque. There’s a lovely little spa area and a large 15 meter pool with Jacuzzi and spa area.
The hotel overall is very nice but rather bland in most places. I feel that it could use a little bit of personality injected into it but it served its purpose very well and it was a pleasant day regardless. I stayed in room number 245 and it was a great size and very clean. The bathroom let it down, however. It was very old and tired and the toilet cistern was attached to the wall with a block of wood. There was a shelf above the sink meaning the tap could not be turned on fully and, despite there being a note on the wall, it took ages for the water to run hot; resulting in me leaving the tap running for at least five minutes, which isn’t very eco-friendly.
I would definitely stay here again though, but I would upgrade to a better room in the hopes of not running into the instances with the bathroom.
