We had an overall nice stay at hotel Lagosmar. The bathroom had a weird smell everytime we entered the room. It went away when we used the shower, but came back when not used. The shower was also very small.. there wasn’t much room to move.
Unfortunately a watch was stolen from our bag, while the room was cleaned. We talked to the assistant manager and she was very understanding and helpful. We didn’t get the watch back, so we filed a police report. Hotel states it’s not responsible for any stolen items. We understand that statement, but the watch was stolen from a closed bag and left with the zipper open after thieft. It’s a very unfortunate situation and we just want other people to know to use locks on your bag and that there’s a safe available in your room.
Other than that we had an amazing time in Lagos. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great and everything is walkable. There’s a pooltable available in the hotel and a nice terrace on the roof. Lots of great restaurants nearby.
