Stayed for one week in this hotel with my wife and 8 year old son. It was hot in Rome (+30 degr C) so we chose this hotel because it has a swimming pool and it was not that expensive. Location is good, highway in front of the hotel didnt bother us at all. Little walk to the trainstation in Sta Maria/Mole (10 mins, which can be done starting from the safer street behind the hotel), then 30 mins by train into Rome. Staff was very friendly, all of them. Pool was very good too, there is a Restaurant which has a great chief, the food is excellent (Mama's recepy). Unfortunately closed on Sundays, we found out only the day itself, perhaps receiptionist could have told us earlier on Fri or Sat...... But there are restaurants in Martino (Kirby's - great food) and in Sta Maria/Mole, close to the trainstation. Room very comfortable and tidy, it had all we needed. Airconditioning made some noise but after one night we were used to that. Breakfast very dull specialy staying 7 nights, but enough to start the day fresh. All in all a pleasant experience. Do not understand the bad reviews, you must always keep in mind that it is a budget hotel and that Italians remain Italians. But they always do a huge effort to understand you, no matter how difficult the language barrier is they made us feel comfortable and welcome. I would come back again!
