The Rolling Hills symbolizes luxury from the past, but fails to adapt to modern times. The hotel staff obeys to strict protocol of impeccable service, but to an extend that makes it very impersonal. The rooms are spacious, but lack simple things like phone chargers or even power sockets near the bed. The light switches are on the wall, which doesn't help either. The dining places in the hotel are pricey but decent, but close already round 9pm which is a bit early after a longer day of work. Same for the coffee bar that only opens at 8am.
The hotel is clearly a favourite choice for families with small kids, but would not be my preferred choice when visiting Hwaseong/Namyang for business purposes.
