The hotel itself was very modern and clean. We loved our room. Even though it is located next to Times Square, we also didn’t hear any noise in our room. Very happy with that! Unfortunately, we were not happy with the employees at the reception. Usually you will be greeted and asked how your day was when you walk in or out of a hotel. Not in this hotel. In the week that we’ve had our stay, we’ve been greeted maybe two times. Even though they usually were standing with 3 or 4 employees at the reception, most of the time they were talking to each other. We even heard one of the employees talking about a famous person that was staying at the hotel and showing something about this person on her mobile telephone to another employee. Very unprofessional! Also, there has to be a better way to check guests when they enter the hotel. A few times we were asked by the security by the elevator to show our roomkeys, when we were already holding them in our hands. Even though one security guy saw our roomkey, the second one also wanted to see it. Very annoying when they are also very rude about it. The service experience is a reason for us not to come back.
