I will likely just repeat the many positive reviews/aspects of this hotel. It is in a superior location, literally steps away from the center/old medieval city and a short walk from the Riva. There are plenty of dining and shopping opportunities in the vicinity. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very, very clean. I was particularly impressed with the very wide choice of items available for breakfast. It was truly one of the bigger buffets I've experienced and had everything from eggs & bacon, pastry, fruit/vegetables to fish, cereals...you name it.
And as I came during a heat wave, I can attest that the airco works! To note: they have a couple entrances and reception areas which can be confusing if asking people to meet you. This is not a downside by any means (it is convenient) however it is a good point to know. This is (I think) also partially because the hotel is located on the cusp of a pedestrian only area. Also, although they have beautiful faucets in the bathroom, they are not the most intuitive. But these are minor points that don't take away from the very pleasant stay I had.
If going to Split, this hotel is highly recommended. If I have occasion to return, I will for sure have this hotel as my top choice of places to stay.
