Terrible communication with virtual check in
I booked this hotel because it is next door to where my cousin was staying and I wanted to be there for her wedding. I never even stayed in this place one night. They have a total virtual check in.I was never made aware of any check in process when i spoke to someone on the phone earlier in the day to let them know I would be arriving late. I got an email saying I will need a physical key and I would get information on retrieving it. They did not tell me how I would receive this information. I never received the information when arriving at 12 am in the morning there is no clerk no way to communicate and we had to find another place to stay.Upon our late arrival we spoke with a guest that also had issues with check in. I called and spoke with someone the following day and they put the blame on me and would not refund although I had all emails and texts they sent and none of it had any information that I needed to check in. They sent me the information a day later. I disputed the credit card charges and did receive my refund. I am glad now that we did not stay here. Being next door at my cousins place and seeing this place from above it did not look like a comfortable or well kept place to stay. The pool was very dirty looking. Definitely would not recommend this place. If they do not keep any clerks or anyone available who would you go to for any issues or anything you would need during a stay there? This hotels operations are inefficient and lack proper oversight.
