Our first room had some kind of upwelling of water in the bathroom floor from underneath the tiles, and the air conditioner was so loud that when it clicked on and off, we would wake up each time. Very clean otherwise.
Front desk staff rude. We decided to stay another day but move to a lakefront room. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t ready, then it wasn’t ready again, then it was ready but their system was down so they *still* couldn’t let us in.
We decided to leave and move on with our vacation; they refused a refund (their choice) but got confrontational about the reservation we had made five hours ago. A blonde woman from the office lost ANY chance that we would return here or recommend the place based on that experience.
Me: “I’m just really frustrated.”
The employee: “Yiou Think I’m not frustrated? I have 22 people to check in.”
Sorry, but that was kind of her problem as the guest services representative at a hotel. She made it ours. (The length of this review alone, I hope adequately describes how upsetting this all was. very bad experience)
However, cleaning and ground staff were incredibly kind.
This location is amazing; it Is half a block from the beach.
