Check-in was a nightmare. We arrived early and I went into the office to see how early we could check in. As I walked in, the older woman behind the desk was telling a caller on her phone not to book online and she would call her back. As she gave me her attention, she asked my name, and when I told her my name and she looked on her computer, I started to ask about options for early check in, she told me check-in was 2pm. Then she asked, “You reserved online?” I told her we had and she said, “2 o’clock it is then.” I didn’t even have the opportunity to explain that we had a child with a disability and no power at our home due to a storm and needed a place to rest. I have never encountered such rudeness before. Different person at the desk when we were able to check in—my husband said he was very pleasant.
