What a very very bad Hotel.
At arrival, the door didn’t open to the lobby. Only after knocking instead of ringing, someone answered. Than, the person behind the ‘counter’, wanted to take my passport, and keep it, so he knew who was in the building.
We had to walk 101 steps to our room on the 4th floor, because the lift had just broken down. After seeing the piece of paper on the lift, it had been out for weeks/months.
The room had a shared bathroom, we knew. But no one told us the poor shape of the bathroom. Screws were sticking out of the bath tub, the faucet couldn’t keep a steady temperature, the faucet on sink was so low, you could not fill a watercooker under it. Tiles were broken, edges were sharp and dirty. Free toiletries meant as much as: the leftovers from previous visitors. The carpet in the hallways and on the stairs was stained and dirty.
Housekeeping signed of the night cleaning in 1 time, not showing up the 5 times they signed of for.
The plug for the tv was hanging out of the wall. The room was small (appr 180cm wide), and had a very small, wobbly and squeky bed. The walls were not insulated, so we could hear every snore someone else made.
There were no seats, couch or whatever. There was a little Ikea-lack-table. The carpet was dusty, the window had only 2 positions: open for about 50cm, or closed. The heating on the wall kept running, and wasn’t able to be turned off.
All-in all a very dissapointing stay, at a dirty hotel, with no service whatsoever.
