We arrived in the hotel with a bit of a problem, as our luggage was lost on our way to San Francisco. The hotel manager, Steve, was incredibly helpful and kind to us. He even offered us his phone so we could call the airline. The hotel itself is OK. The room is quite small and the bathroom facilities are to be shared with other guests. Everything was clean and tidy however. We didn’t experience any noise or trouble. The only downside is the location of the hotel, as it’s right in the center of mission district where a lot of homeless people have gathered. We didn’t feel unsafe, but it did feel a bit uncomfortable at times.
To summarize: Steve is awesome and his hotel is nice. You get what you pay for.
