First, let me say that my interactions with staff were minimal and uneventful. My biggest issue with service is their decision not to refund my reservation after deciding minutes later we wouldn’t stay due to the conditions we weren’t aware of (didn’t even enter one unit as the code didn’t work).
Advertised pictures are definitely misleading, completely different than our experience upon arrival. The outside is full of graffiti, trash, foul odors and unhomed individuals. Unfortunately not knowing the area, it felt very dirty and unsafe.
Walking up to the rooms the area was as well dirty… entering the “hallway” to our rooms there was bags of trash and dirty linens.
Rooms were not ready, never got access to one of the rooms once “ready”. The couple of minutes spent in one unit, room was muggy. Smaller than pictured.
Toilets dirty, dusty floors with crumbs, bobby pin, and human nails, stains on pillows, damaged linen, build up dust in many places, stained curtains with what seemed to be food and just overall damages on walls/closets…. The main door knob FELL OFF when we were leaving to our new reservation elsewhere!!!
I wish I would’ve known these things prior to booking and not fell for what in my opinion seems like false advertisement.
Definitely not the way I wanted to start my trip with thousands more down the drain!
