"Our one week stay was everything we wanted and more. We loved all the different areas and pools. The views were stunning and beach was gorgeous.
We were curious what to expect with the food because there are such mixed reviews but we really enjoyed it!
The Take a Bite Cafe could have been a little better—the espresso was quite weak.
At the breakfast buffet, the omelette stations were the highlight, and sitting outside practically on the beach with an ocean view was incredible. We even saw some whales while eating breakfast!
The Surfos Snack Bar had the best fish tacos I think I’ve ever had. And the cook Fernando was incredible. He was so personable and kind. When we asked for hot sauce and he didn’t have any, without asking he went and got us some from the restaurant—absolutely over and above.
The variety of seafood the resort had on the whole was excellent.
Risotto (Italian) was our favourite restaurant.
Truly though, the staff are what made this resort the unexpected awesomeness that it was.
Manuel and Lilly were lovely, kind, attentive poolside waiters. We really appreciated them and enjoyed seeing them each day.
Raúl, the bartender at the sports bar, was fantastic! Playing pool and sipping his cocktails made our evenings.
We also are super thankful to Urias. He hosted karaoke and archery and was so fun, kind, and engaging. He truly went over an above to make us feel welcome. Our experience at the altitude rooftop bar was a highlight of our week. Hugo the bartender"
