My partner and I decided to spend a relaxing couple's vacation in Pasadena, and we chose the Westin, hoping for a pleasant, restful stay. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the condition of the property.
First, the room didn’t meet expectations. Several pieces of furniture were clearly damaged, which detracted from the overall experience. While the carpet had been cleaned, there were still noticeable stains, which gave the room a worn, unkempt feel.
More concerning was the closet sliding door, which was not properly fastened. When I tried to use it, the door came off its track, injuring me in the process. It was a safety hazard that should have been addressed before guests arrived.
While the location is fantastic for walking around Pasadena and exploring the area, if you're looking for a relaxing retreat in a comfortable, well-maintained room, I would recommend reconsidering this property. Unfortunately, it didn’t offer the peaceful getaway we had hoped for.
