A historic stay
We got the recommendation from friends. If you want to stay in Estes Park, have a great view of the place and the real historic feeling, you've got to stay at the Grags Lodge. So we did.
The hotel is up a steep and winding road, The parking is reserved for guests.
The Grags Lodge is an historic building and that gives it the special feeling of times long gone.
Still it is accessable with an elevator. We got the suite on the left side of the building giving us a scenic view from Estes Park and even an old bathtub. The building is old and completely wooden, mind that you can hear your own footsteps. We found it no problem, adding to that tippical feeling of thid building.
Unfortunally their was no restaurant open during our stay, so we went (on direction of the kind lady at the reception) exploring the dinners and restaurants in town.
