Reception:
Inexperienced staff sometimes difficult to speak English. Example to book a taxi Van. The young man makes me wait for 20 minutes, asks for all the details only to say deadpan that he cannot make a reservation for a taxi to the airport
Room:
Is fine. Clean and good shower. Beds are of good quality. Minus point: there is tea in the room but no coffee maker, unfortunate.
Buffet breakfast:
Very sad, big kitchen, a mass of people standing drumming. Everything cold, eggs cold, coffee cold, the fruit is unripe, regrettable, no fresh crusty bread, in short poor quality
Buffet dinner:
Little variety, again a mass of people standing drumming, long queue in the evening to enter the restaurant. Again nothing fresh and not good quality food. You book half pension and all drinks have to be paid for in supplement: water, soft drinks, beer, house wine, you name it. That's not half board! The restaurants around the hotel are exclusive and you can't book with supplement to pay in your half-board formula. You have to pay for everything separately and full price
Swimming pool:
Beautiful pool with blissfully warm water, clean. Very pleasant. Heavy downside: policy of the hotel not to reserve seats or put towels. At 7.30am, everything is fully reserved. Dégoutant! Never again! nothing is done about it. We are of the opinion: first come first serve, that way everyone has a place by the pool. First time in 25 years of travelling that I had to lay down my towel to swim.
