i hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was not what the pictures showed. i figured it was just old, but it’s actually rundown.
i was traveling with children. had to throw my daughter’s socks away because they were black from how dirty the floors were. we ended up wearing our shoes in the room bc it was so dirty. there were exposed pipes under the sink, stains on the walls and ceilings, broken “fencing” on the stairs that could cut or scratch you.
surprisngly, the surfaces were clean - countertops, sink…as well as the shower and toilet. the shower curtain was very old though, so that made me uncomfortable. the beds also looked and felt clean.
another upside was they had free parking, which is a luxury in la. the staff was also VERY NICE and accommodating. no issues there.
we were thinking about leaving after seeing the state of the room, but we decided to tough it out since we arrived pretty late and just needed it for one night.
