We stayed at the Sheraton because of the event that we were attending was also being hosted in the hotel - We booked a 1 King / Corner room (3 nights / 4 days) - upon arrival the front desk staff were friendly and checked us in quickly - we are rewards members and were given a room on the preferred floor but realized it was not a Corner as per our booking - we attributed it being so busy with the event so we didn’t push it. Many of the event attendees had traveled and were also staying in the hotel so it was quite busy. We made it to our room and immediately were greeted with peeling wall paper, badly scuffed mini fridge, and a badly cracked wall outlet. The shower and bath struggled to maintain temp, while also having old nozzles / hard water build up that cause the water to sputter and spray out at odd angles. Our first evening out we had dinner away from the hotel and picked up Ice cream pints to have in our room - I asked the front desk if we could get spoons to which I was told "no we don't have those - sorry". that was the end of the conversation - no offer to check with restaurant or bar or anything just No. The final straw though was our final night I woke at 3am to a large box elder bug crawling on me in the bed. I notified the front desk of the incident they apologized but that was all they did - apologize nothing else... Needless to say if we are in the area for an event in the future we will be looking to stay some where else.
