All generic- no pride in service.
I stayed because there was a blizzard and I had to be able to get to work at a nearby hospital. The night clerk who checked me in was fantastic. My first impression of the hotel, in general, was that it smelled and appeared clean. The room was generic. The bed was so hard that my hips hurt in the morning. I piled pillows from the other bed and used them as a mattress pad. Still, I didn't sleep all that well and the next night a heard of elephants checked in upstairs and my headboard was against the stairs. In the morning, the breakfast offered plain and raisin oatmeal, some individually wrapped bagels and bread to toast. No butter, only grape jelly and plain cream cheese. A few token small yogurts were in the mini fridge.The biscuits and french toast in the warmer could have broken windows. They offered a machine that dispensed waffle batter and you cooked your own. Again, no butter and just syrup. There were two types of cereal in Tupperware holders, no milk. Coffee, tea, and juices were dispensed from a fountain machine... No OJ. No protein offered only carbs...
