Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. During our stay, our packages, which contained cherished items such as our favorite pastries, fruit, nuts, chocolates, and a pair of my wife’s glasses, were mistakenly thrown into the garbage. These items were a collection of small treasures we had gathered during our travels across Europe.
Initially, the cleaning crew denied any wrongdoing, and the hotel manager treated us poorly, refusing to accept responsibility. After hours of arguing, the hotel finally offered minimal financial compensation, which barely covered our losses.
On the final day of our stay, we felt unsafe and experienced the worst hospitality we have ever encountered. This unfortunate incident has drastically changed our perception of the Mandarin Oriental brand, which we once loved.
