Direct access to one of the best beaches on Maui. Long sandy beach bordered by rocks/reef where colorful fish abounded, and saw a massive turtle in the first 5 minutes of snorkeling. Great view from the balcony. Friendly & helpful staff.

We have st stayed at this property before always a good spot to hang near the beach especially when the restaurant is open. It's been shut for a little while as they are renovating 5 Palms is the name I think and look forward to that reopening. In general a good place to stay and beach is usually pretty good always gets windy in the afternoon as does all of Mau, in all a good stay

Great communication all the way. The management reached out to me a week prior to my arrival to find out my arrival time then explained their late check-in process. They actually have humans who will answer the phone if you do need to reach them as well. Great customer service. Very clean and beautiful property. Was like being in a dream. I was sad to leave but know where I'll return on the next visit! Mahalo!

Our unit was located on the 6th floor. The large sliding glass doors opened onto the large deck and provided an unobstructed view of the beach. The table and chairs on the deck were a great place to enjoy our morning cup of coffer and our evening meals. Thekitchen contained a sufficient amount of cups/glasses, plates and cutlery. The only negative was the lack of condiments. Salt and pepper were the only spices provided. The property was very clean. The pool area was cleaned everyday. Chaise lounges were available for use on the large lawn between the pool and beach. We especially enjoyed walking along the large beach adjacent to the property. The property was a great place to stay. The beach are was great. They had to shut off water for maintenance. I understand the need but caused some inconvenience. It was not easy to watch local news or any descent entertainment on the TV. I would recommend this place

This hotel is a must stay when in Maui! Gorgeous views of the ocean from the room and only steps away from the beach. The hotel has an onsite store with plenty of goods to choose from. Water activity rentals are available. Location is fairly convenient as many stores and restaurants are a short drive away. Staff are welcoming and helpful! Room was comfortable and felt like a home. Will definitely return! Mahalo to the wonderful staff at Mana Kai and 808!

Very clean and attentive staff The room was clean and had AC and a ceiling fan. The best part is the beach being in the backyard of the hotel. The 808 market next store made it very convenient to buy drinks,sunblock, etc. overall great experience

Very frustrating everyday having to prove you are a resident at the hotel for any entrance to the pool / bathroom to get pool towels etc. there were times my girlfriend and I were swimming in the pool and the hotel staff would approach us asking for us to provide our room number to prove we belonged in the pool. Did not feel like we were on a relaxing vacation felt more like we were under pressure to prove we paid money to stay here. Would not recommend. The 808 grocery store staff was nice. Beach area was nice as well
