Hotel was very clean and staff seemed to be helpful and polite for the most part. There was no AC in the executive suite and was informed there was an HVAC problem and they were trying to fix it. A box fan from maintenance was the fix and the room stayed close to 80 degrees the entire stay. I was later told that I wouldn’t be charged for the room but instead they charged my card a second time at the hotel for the amount of the room and then credited that amount back. The original payment I made through hotels.com I was still charged for so they didn’t actually do anything except make it appear as if I had been credited for the room. The physical hotel itself is not bad if your HVAC is working properly. The whole ordeal with charging me a second time and refunding that to make it initially appear as if I was receiving compensation for the stay with money I was already owed is petty, low and disrespectful. That’s not how any customer should be treated and frankly I’m shocked that this is a representation of the Marriott hotel managerial staff.
