Amazing room in middle of very picturesque village, wonderful to enjoy the evening and morning light and river. Very tasty well cooked breakfast, delivered in a very friendly and punctual way, very kind and hard working and caring staff. Great place to stay.

Wonderful view of Bourton-on-the-water from the beef run window, absolutely fantastic bathroom and breakfast was great. Couldn't fault the stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Location and views over the river and Bourton 10/10, good sized suite and a huge bathroom, with rolltop bath and separate shower, twin sinks(stayed in The Euro suite). Superking bed, very comfortable, fridge in the room, all key facilities provided, check in a simple process. Breakfast ordered the night before and delivered to your room at the requested time, good selection, good quality. If youโ€™re being really picky the room could do with some age related wear and tear decorating touching up, deep clean the soft seats and carpet stains. Overall a good stay in a decent property with incredible views, in an incredible location which is why you pay a premium price. Just lower your expectations around the decor/finish itโ€™s not the Ritz and doesnโ€™t pretend to be.(Your paying for the location).

Lovely clean room! The room was ready before the time stated which was great. It was a little bit noisy as it's joint in with the chip shop but that doesnโ€™t go on till late. Amazing how they offer breakfast delivered to your rooms which was incredible. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back if we are in the area. Thank you!

The Hotel was in an excellent location and check in was really easy. The room was extremely small and needed decorating. The heating was on all night and the heat was unbearable. Donโ€™t want to sound too negative as it was a lovely stay. The room just needed updating. A nice little touch were the extra pastries given to us at breakfast as a congratulations for getting engaged so thank you to the owners for that.

Had few problems getting the code to get into room and took a little while and a few phone calls to sort out . Room was fine and lovely breakfast. I was in yen room and the shower is very small and the shower fittings are worn so you need to hold the hand held to use but as itโ€™s a very small cubicle it isnโ€™t easy . Obviously this is a minor issue as is when leaving I couldnโ€™t put the keys back in the safe box as it wouldnโ€™t open again. Itโ€™s only a few little minor things that Iโ€™m sure will get put right in due course.

The cleaner was the most lovely man who couldnโ€™t have done more to make our stay comfortable. In the heart of town it was perfect to walk to dinner etc. the stairs were difficult to navigate with large suitcases. The picking up of the keys was confusing as the instructions said it was offsite but it was onsite and we walked the town looking for Hartley House and it turned out to be a very old name for the property we stayed in. We paid ยฃ35 for two nights parking which did add to the cost of the weekend.

Would not stay there again The apartment was tiny not suitable for two people. The bathroom was even worst. Couldnโ€™t turn around in the shower. I fell of the bed because of the unevenness of the floor and bed. The side tables wobbled and were very unsteady. No room to put your bags, we left them in the car and took a small back pack up to the room. On the positive side the breakfast good and was huge.

Where to beginโ€ฆthe entire experience went from bad to worse. To start, the room was not ready when we went to check in at the advertised check in time. After being promised that it would only be another 5 minutes, we waited an additional 30 minutes to get in to a room that was in terrible shape. Large stains on the bed and sheets. Stains on the side table and chairs. Massive black scuff marks on the walls. A spider made its home in the (obviously uncleaned) bathtub. The shower and sink barely drained to the point of not being functional. And on top of all that, the basic security amenities of a security lock on the door was painfully absent and when we attempted to contact the facility manager, we were ghosted all weekend. If this room was one third of the cost, I would say it is overpriced.

Beautiful room. Amazing breakfast delivered to the room so it all felt very romantic. The view was wonderful out of the beautiful bay window. The room was Clean but compact so next time I come back I would book the larger room.

Booked very last min, arrived an hour later, friendly host on the phone helped us get in as was late. Yes itโ€™s above a chip shop but no smell or anything. Really lovely / clean comfortable room. Ample tea and coffee - very welcome!!! Beautiful view of the river with chairs to sit on in front of the window just to watch the world go by and my friend was in heaven with the free standing bath in a lovely bathroom . Definately recommend . ๐Ÿ‘
