We were offered a cabin upgrade at the last minute and decided to take the offer. Having the private cabin with all the upgraded amenities was worth every penny!
It was secluded, quiet 'neighbors' on both sides of us, beautiful view of the babbling brook that is Fall River through this area. We saw plenty of Elk, Deer and Wild Turkeys wandering around the property, drinking from the river, and generally just being chill, but still wild, animals.
The staff were super friendly and understanding about our wants and needs, kept us informed of everything and made checkout a breeze. They had all sorts of amenities to buy in the front office, as well (but not a computer mouse!), including multiple bottles of champagne and wine, if that's your thing.
This place is close enough to the good stuff, but off the beaten path, everyone always passes it going to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's not really within walking distance of anywhere but the Wapiti down the road, unless you like walking 4-5 miles. It's close enough to the Big Horn Diner, and Safeway is just a straight shot down the highway, so no way of getting lost there and back.
After our most recent visit, we've found a place we want to stay when in town, and that's the Private Cabins at The Inn At Fall River. The view was lovely, the staff was knowledgable and friendly, and every care was taken care of. The fall flowers I ordered filled the cabin with their scent, it was quite an awesome surprise for the wife.
