First for the minusus. One: the pool as well as the "hot" tubs are very cold. Even on very hot days, it never really reaches a nice temperature. Two: you can't go in the pool without a cap. It's not 1985 anymore! Of course, they sell caps because no normal persons owns this anymore... Three: the internet is old-fashioned style. You get a paper with a username and password that you have to renew every 24 hours. Not handy at all, certainly not if you have several devices. Very annoying! Four: you need to make a reservation to be able to lay by the pool (???). We never made a reservation and never had an issue, because the hotel was not full. However, if I would not have had the chance to go and lay by the pool while I am staying there, I would not have accepted it. This is stupid, ridiculous and a waste of time. All the above stupidities have ensured 3 full-time jobs so I guess it's good for the local economy :-/.
That's it for the bad: aside from the small problems above we had a really great stay. Breakfast is great (danish, fruit, juices, prosecco, cereal, meat, breads, eggs, etc) and there's plenty. The hotel is beautiful and the poolarea as well. The staff is friendly and accomodating. There's plenty of parking space. It's only a 15 minute drive to the beautiful downtown Bologna, and less than an hour away from the beautiful beach of Ravenna.
All in all, I would definitely stay again!
