Hotel in perfect location, but poor comfort
The hotel is quite ok seen that fact that one is staying in the middle of Londen, so many attractions can be reached easily. However, the heating in the hotel is terrible. The traditional radiators are not working anymore, but the airconditioner that was then supposed to heat the rooms (I guess) were not functional. Instead of that an electrical heater was placed in one of our rooms (we had a two room appartment). So the other room stayed ice-cold. Next day it was organized another electrical heater which made it more bearable. The beds were horrible. I slept in a double bed with my wife, but the sides were inclined towards the middle, so we always felt we were rolling to the middle. I solved this by sleeping on the bed in the other room. My son was sleeping on the sofa which could be extended as bed. However the bed was terribly hard. I wonder if it was any cushioning material on it at all. The breakfast was ok, but don't expect a typical English breakfast. Only cooked eggs available, no sausages or beans.
