I recently stayed at a property in Munich for 6 days, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.
Firstly, the hotel only provided a complimentary water bottle on the first day of my stay. For the remaining days, I had to pay for water, which is quite disappointing for a multi-day booking. Secondly, the room did not have air conditioning, and when I raised the issue due to the heat, I was simply told to open the window — a very poor solution, especially considering the comfort expected from a hotel stay.
This is the first time I’ve encountered such a situation in a city like Munich, and it was genuinely disheartening.
Additionally, I noticed that the rates listed on Hotels.com were significantly higher than the hotel's standard pricing. This disparity made me feel misled and dissatisfied with the booking process on Hotels.com.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I’ve never faced such inconvenience before and expected better from both the hotel and Hotels.com.
