Concert Square highlights

Concert Square's bars, clubs and surrounding restaurants are obviously the biggest attraction here, and for good reason. Concert Square is a favourite of the university crowd, but it also has a beautiful presence of historic buildings that are worth taking a moment to appreciate.

Concert Square is often compared to other famous Liverpool streets that are known for great nightlife, such as Matthew Street. Each area has its own reputation and style, so many plan weekend trips to go venue by venue to indulge in the full Liverpool experience.

Good to know when visiting Concert Square

Concert Square is located in the Ropewalks district between Fleet Street and Steel Street. Your best bet is to take public transport or park in a nearby parking garage and walk the remaining distance. Liverpool Central is the nearest train station, and the nearest bus stations are on Hanover Street, A5038 and Duke Street.

You’ll find the biggest crowds Thursday through Saturday nights, so if you want to experience the food and drinks with less noise or people, you may want to avoid these times. Given that Concert Square is home to many high-end eateries, you may want to prepare for higher-priced options.
