On day one being Sunday, we discovered there was no WiFi due to unspecified problems. Then bathroom lights over the sink was blown and the bathroom door handle was loose. My wife initially got herself locked in but finally we were able to get the door open again. On day 2 we discovered our room door couldn’t close, it operates electronically, so all night it was open. Then we tried to get our valuables from the room safe, but it couldn’t open!! The hotel had to phone a locksmith to open it, this took a few hours, so we couldn’t leave the hotel to go out until late afternoon, costing us valuable time. We didn’t expect this from Hilton Doubletree. Apparently the hotel was acquired from another hotel chain, however the facilities were in poor state. That Doubletree hotel needs a thorough check up of all its room, electronics and facilities. The hotel Management and staff were very friendly and did their best under the circumstances, however the hotel after the acquisition and COVID lockdown should have performed a proper check of all its facilities before opening its doors to the public
