While the property and surroundings were impressive, I noticed a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning of the rooms. For instance, the soap dispenser was not filled upon check-in, and despite the issue being reported, it was not addressed until the third day of our stay.
Additionally, our group of 15 booked six rooms to celebrate a significant birthday. We requested plates and cutlery to enjoy a cake provided by a local baker. However, we were informed that outside food could only be consumed in our rooms and that there would be a charge of €6 per plate for the required items. Given Hilton’s reputation, we found this policy to be disappointing and not in line with the level of service we expected.
Based on this experience, I regret to say that I cannot recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Considering the amount we paid and my previous positive experiences with Hilton, I expected a higher standard of service.
