Beautiful hotel. Hot tub was gritty inside and around it. The thermostat in our room definitely didn’t control anything. Just to confirm, we asked a couple who were in the hot tub, they said they couldn’t control theirs either. It would just do random numbers. There were instructions on how to use it but, it never went up by 1/2 a degree or down by 1/2 a degree. It always set itself back to 70 degrees. Had the room been warmer, I would’ve either asked for help, or a different room. Having a heart condition, I can’t sleep in a warm room. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, I have never seen a thermostat like this. I’m telling you, this thing can’t be adjusted or just didn’t work. There was something up with the lights in the gym too. I flipped the switch several times and they didn’t come on. I gave up and used my cell phone flashlight to look around. It smelled too much like chlorine in there to work out anyway. On my way out I tried the lights again, they worked! Short in the wiring? Haunted? I don’t know. The Hotel gave me Titanic vibes. In the morning the windows were so fogged over we couldn’t see out of them, so that was a bummer, our river view we paid extra for wasn’t visible. Did I mention the Hotel was beautiful inside? Lol. That’s about it.
