Great location, cool concept, poor service
I was downgraded to a lower category room and it took 40 mins to check me in even though I had prepaid for the room. Instead of being honest about this, reception staff said “I’m sorry about the wait, I’m just trying to make your stay extra exceptional.” When I eventually saw the room and noticed that I had been downgraded, I went to reception again - only at this point did they admit that I had received a downgrade as they had no rooms available.
Room credit of USD 44 could not he used in full as it was applied to the lowest transaction the the hotel rather than one where the full credit would have been used.
The room was not maintained greatly. I had to remove limescale of the shower head to ensure flow of water.
Shower gel had not been refilled when I checked into the room. I had to ask twice over two days until this was done.
Location is convenient, especially if you’re looking to do some shopping. Restaurants have quite cool concepts, but no need to stay at the hotel to experience this.
Staff on check-out also not particularly helpful, didn’t even ask how my stay was. I guess they go by the motto: “if you don’t want the answer to a question, don’t ask…”
If you’re looking for good service, don’t choose this hotel.
