The location of the hotel is great!
For our stay, we were given a handicap-adapted room. You’d think, “Nice, more space, right?” And yes, that part was true. But it quickly became a bit of a challenge when you're traveling with a 2-meter-tall husband. The sink reached his knees, the showerhead was at hip height, and the soap dispenser was down by his ankles.
To make things more interesting, there were several emergency alarm cords throughout the room, constantly getting tangled in them. One of them went off, and we thought, “No problem, we’ll just hit the reset button.” That didn’t work… and no one came to check either.
The rooftop does have a great view, and the staff were friendly. But the place is starting to show its age. The furniture is worn, and the tables are painted with some kind of sticky coating that makes them feel permanently dirty.
That said, we did have a good time overall. The room was clean, the AC worked well, and again the staff were friendly and the location is excellent.
One last note: during check-out, someone had left their wig on the reception counter. Not the freshest goodbye...
