Mary's Shell is a popular art installation located on Cleveleys Beach by Blackpool that depicts a massive, abstract shell large enough for a person to fit inside. The sculpture is made of metal, and the artist managed to make it curve in a way that mimics the shape of an ocean wave and a seashell simultaneously. Mary's Shell is only fully visible at low tide. As the waves recede and the shell is slowly revealed, it will eventually get to the point where you can climb inside for some truly picturesque shots.
