Children's Discovery Centre highlights

The major feature of the Children's Discovery Centre is the variety of exhibits. The Tot Spot is a special area designed for children aged 5 years and younger. Meanwhile, the Fantastic You exhibit focuses on how the body works. At Rainforest Adventures, children can explore the wonders of the rainforest.

With the rest of the exhibits, you'll find valuable information about history and society. Your Town teaches kids how communities work, while Hawaiian Rainbows showcases local history. Rainbow World highlights other cultures outside of Hawaii, showing that we have more in common with everyone than we do differences.

Good to know when visiting Children's Discovery Centre

Before you visit the Children's Discovery Centre, there are a few factors to keep in mind. The centre maintains a strict standard for having at least 1 adult per every 4 children. Strollers are prohibited as well, though they do offer stroller parking in the lobby. Baby carriers are allowed, of course.

When you're visiting this museum, you'll find yourself close to quite a few other exciting attractions in the area. Aloha Tower is just a short walk to the north by the harbour, and you may also want to check out the nearby Hawaii State Art Museum.
