Llandudno Pier stretches out 700 metres into the Irish Sea, making this the longest structure of its kind in Wales. The pleasure pier, like many in the UK, dates from Victorian times. Over the years, various entertainment facilities have been added, such as the Lamborghini-designed Big Wheel.

Venue Cymru is Llandudno’s main theatre, arena and convention centre. Its programme comprises touring shows such as musicals and plays, plus comedic performances and talks by interesting individuals.

The spacious auditorium seats 1,800 people and has a standing capacity of 2,500 people. The Kings Head dates back to the 18th century. making it the oldest pub in Wales. The building has plenty of character, boasting flagstone floors and a fireplace. However, it’s the pub’s sun-trap outdoor terrace that draws the crowd, especially in the summer holiday season.

Though the pub serves food all day, it’s worth popping by in the evening to try some of its real ales on tap. The Kings Head is great for enjoying a convivial evening with friends. There’s a weekly quiz night and regular live DJ sets.

TAPPS Micropub serves a range of cask ales, craft beers, artisan cider and Welsh spirits in Llandudno. Drinkers can choose from 2 spaces, each with its own vibe: an open-plan bar at the front and a cosy nook at the rear.
