At this time they are only cleaning rooms upon request. I did ask for our trash to be emptied ( which didn’t happen). They need more trams for the beach. The hotel is nice and everyone was friendly.

Extremely disappointing stay
We booked a room for 3 adults for 6 nights, Sunday May 30 to Saturday June 5. I paid $2400 for the 6 nights. Upon arrival we were placed in a king room handicap accessible. There was no tub, the sink counter space was so tiny we had to use the ironing board for counter space. My children are 20 and 28, there was no way for us to all fit on one king bed. So they sent up a rollaway bed which was nasty, had springs poking up and impossible to sleep on. The gulf view I paid extra for was a rooftop. We sent the rollaway bed back since it was uncomfortable with the springs poking up. For 2 nights my 5’10” son tried to sleep on the couch (with his long legs hanging off). Completely unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. After 2 nights of extreme discomfort we were finally moved to a double queen room. (Thank you Hailey). The food at the pool bar was inedible- the chicken fingers were stringy, more like chicken jerky. They must have over microwaved them, they were like jerky strips. I guess the “resort fee” which was tacked on at the end wasn’t included in the $400/night, neither was parking. They also tried to charge us for 6 nights of a rollaway bed that was never used. No housekeeping but we didn’t request it so that wasn’t an issue. Overall, not a great experience. Overpriced for an almost motel 6 experience. Will never stay here again.

It’s was alright, kinda.
The water slide in the pool was the best. The hotel room had a chip bag from people in the previous stay, hotel breakfast was absolutely horrendous, didn’t even bother to waste money on lunch or dinner there.

Pricey & Old
The room itself was beautifully remodeled and decorated but that’s about it...
It’s the building of the old Waldorf Astoria hotel and needs some serious updates!!! The building itself needs to be pressure washed, it’s black all over, the pool area needs sprucing up too or at least clean up and hosed down the birds poop on the chairs!
The Greek restaurant on the beach sounds fabulous but it had a fire three months ago, and is still not up and running, which should be noted for the guest before they make the trip to the beach!! Luckily the seafood restaurant onsite offers amazing food!
Overall we were disappointed!

Stay was horrible we checked in and there was supposed to be now Housekeeping due to Covid guidelines and, 10 am the next morning while we were sitting on the balcony, the housekeeping lady barged un-announced and my wife was in her underwear. we subsequently asked them to refund the next night and moved to the Ritz Carlton Hotel needs upgrades. we paid fr a suite $700+/night Door to balcony was broken and room is old and dated. We are awaiting our credit for the one night that the manager stated we would receive in a few days if not i will be charging back the whole trip

Amazing and relaxing!

Perfect location and views, rooms needs updating.
We chose this location as an affordable option with beach access. The property is beautifully maintained, however the rooms need to be updated, since they still have the beige 90’s decor. The balcony was large and included big comfortable patio furniture. We ordered room service for dinner and watched the sunset!
The pools were nice and well maintained, but a little small for this size property, so get there early if the hotel is fully billed if you want a lounge chair. The beach is the prized jewel of this property. The hotel runs golf cart shuttles there since the beach is on the other side of the bay inlet from the hotel. About a 15 min walk, but Shuttles run every few minutes, so no more than 5 min wait on shuttle ride. The women’s locker room in the spa was very small and needs to be at least doubled in size. Only 2 showers, toilets, and 2 sinks and the lockers were crammed into an area no bigger than a small walk in closet. I had the worst facial ever, that was way to rough and not relaxing, however the manager apologized for the service, refunded the charge and offered to provide another facial for free. Something not all service professionals do, so I respect the manager’s proactive response and would except they will address the issue now that it’s been addressed.

The stay was nice, my only complaint is too many people and it was way too far from the beach. We had to share the trolly with people going to the public beach and they were even allowed to rent our chairs and umbrellas which made it hard for social distancing. Next time I will stay in a hotel that is right on the beach.

Horrible care , no attention to human interactions
This trip was for our 10 year anniversary. I booked the large Suite with Sunset views and terrace and wanted to have a sunset roomservice dinner that night. I called 3 times prior to our arrival and was made sure we are getting a table setting outside upon arrival. At the arrival NOTHING was prepared, I asked again at the front desk for a normal table setting with place mats, plates and silver wear and napkins and wine glasses set up ON the table outside on this terrace. Again NOTHING.
Outside the ambience lighting in the planters were broken and dry rotted and the shower was not draining while showering, the water spilled over so bad that the whole bathroom was flooded.
This management is horrible and does NOT CARE. At the check out the Manager said "Sorry" but did nothing to make my pain go away!
THIS would not have happened at the RITZ CARLTON.
