I was not all that satisfied with your hotel. The reception staff does not meet my expectations at all. During check in, I was not notified about the need to request breakfast at the evening before, at the penalty of £4 per day. Already the concept alone is outrageous, but hiding it in some brochure is beyond belief.
I tried to get a document printed from a memory stick, but the staff could not work with USB. They asked me to send it to reception@pendulumhotel.co.uk. Easy enough, but the email never arrived, not even after a 2nd attempt, while I did not receive a failure message on the transmission. The next day at 6:30am I asked again. It took over 15 minutes for the lady to just access the mailbox? Two people were present to serve me and no other customers were present. I returned shortly after 8am, faced with a huge queue and only 1 person at the desk.
I recommend you think through the performance of the reception services.
You probably are already aware that the rooms are rather small. That is ok. I did appreciate the quality of the bathroom/shower, but I strongly recommend to install bedside lights.
