The positives--
The location (for what I needed to do), the price of the room, excellent vending machines in easily accessible places and my room was quite spacious.
The not-so-good--
Honestly, I tried to like the digital check-in system, but it's pretty creepy. The strange, disembodied faces that float around the kiosk screen and fade in and out are just weird. The poor senior citizen woman ahead of me at check-in was NOT comfortable with the process, and I felt sorry for her. The clerk was very kind and patient, but the woman had so many questions about how this system could possibly work, what she was being charged, how she would get the things she needed, etc.
I had some of the same questions including, "If the WiFi password will be sent to me by e-mail...but I can't access my e-mail until I get WiFi, how will I manage?" It turned out that no password was needed, but I had no way to know that when I was checking in.
I think the worst part of this system is knowing that there is NO ONE on duty downstairs, if I have a problem or an emergency. Like the woman ahead of me at check-in, I too am a senior citizen woman traveling alone and I saw no evidence of staff or even security anywhere. That one thing alone would make me very reluctant to return.
