We had a lovely time in Edinburgh, and that was in no small part thanks to the this gem of a b&b.
The location is good. You can walk to the city centre (20 minutes, uphill) or take a bus (8 minutes, 4 pounds for a dayticket, 1,60 pounds for a single ride). Leith and Arthur's seat are also not that far. The area has some supermarkets and other nice shops.
The room was good. Nothing too special, but it was clean and had all the amenities you'd need for a city trip. It was obvious that the owner had taken care to make each room special in terms of decorating.
The staff (Kat) was incredibly helpful and bright. She was extremely friendly and cheerful. We saw her during breakfast each morning, which, btw, was amazing as well. Several choices for a super fresh breakfast, even a loaf of homemade bread.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this place.
