Very friendly staff, but not a 5 star hotel at all. Room was clean, except for the black fungi in the shower. There where broken curtains, tv cables hanging loose, a stain on the couch, holes in the bath tub (fixed with wall filler), a dented cheap bin, not enough coffee, creamer, tea, etc. for two people, an empty minibar ("I could use the minibar at the reception").
A very friendly, but messy, check in; which I got vouchers for. At first, at checkout, I couldn't use the vouchers on roomservice, only in person at the bar... The 20% discount as a vip member was never adjusted.
The spa is small and very noisy. Especially in the afternoon when there where a lot of noisy kids, with no supervision. The kids are allowed until 19h, and not untill 18u (hotel website). Used towels are lying all over the place. There's no cold/ice water bucket/bath (except for a small shower) and no drinking water. There isn't a hot tub, jacuzzi, etc. The sauna is ok, although you feel like sitting in a shop window. The pool is fine, but in the area there's a lack of warmth and green. Absolutely not a relaxing atmosfere.
Using roomservice wasn't a 5 star experience either: for €20 for 2 glasses of wine, I'm used of being offered options... apparently we've got the standard chardonnay. And ending the conversation in an annoyed way with: "is that all?!" is not the way you should talk to your guest.
This hotel needs their processes and service strongly adjusted, until then very unrecommendable
